Editor Coaching

Not ready to submit your writing to a publisher? Thinking of self-publishing but not sure if you should make the financial leap?

Pair up with an Editor Coach to revise or get feedback on your work. Or simply get some extra incentive to finish that first draft. It's easy:

1. Sign up on Pubmission and create a submission. (You don't have to submit it to a publisher).
2. Select the Editor Coaching feature.
3. Choose the editor you want to work with. (Click here to meet our editors.) Each editor has posted a short bio, a resume, and their session fee. You can also view ratings other writers have given each editor.
4. Start a session. Copy and paste the piece of writing you'd like help with into the writing sample field.
5. Tell your editor what kind of help you want. This could be developmental editing, line editing, or proofreading. (Read the editor's bio to determine their specialities).
6. Rate your editor. After the editor has edited your piece of writing, you can view all the comments they made with our online tool.
7. Start another session. If you want more help, continue with the editor you chose or select another.
