With Pubmission, you receive a weekly e-mail that contains all your direct submissions, plus an optional table that lists works in our general database matching YOUR specific publishing needs.

Through your Publisher’s Dashboard, you can view submissions, quickly reject those that don’t fit your needs, and initiate further communication regarding those that do, all with the click of a mouse. Access you Publisher’s Dashboard from any Internet connection, at any time.

Because Pubmission is based on a credits system for writers, they need to spend credits wisely. That's why we educate our writers on the needs and submission loads of our publisher members. We also show them which publishers match up them with best, which reduces the number of submissions in genres you don't publish or represent. Wouldn't it be nice if more writers did their homework on you?

Pubmission is about competition, about making your submission stand out based on the quality of the writing, not on who you know or what cute gimmicks you use. That means publisher members can quickly see which submissions are gems thanks to Editor Ratings and Keyword Matches.

Pubmission tracks your submissions for you.

No more data entry! When a submission arrives, Pubmission tracks it for you, including the submission itself and author contact information.

So if you want to see everything that was ever submitted to you, along with whether you rejected the submission, press the button near your dashboard to export your slush pile into a comma separated value (.CSV) file that easily opens and saves in your spreadsheet, database, or word processing software. Plus, you'll have your own submission archive to save on your hard drive or server. Click here to see how it works!

Make Pubmission your primary submissions source!

It's easy to direct your writers to submit to you via Pubmission. We'll give you simple code for a Pubmission Badge or Pubmission Portal that you can paste onto your submissions web page. Then just direct writers to use Pubmission for submitting work to you.

When authors click on the Badge, they're sent to a landing page created just for your company. From that page, they can fill in all the necessary information about their submission (word count, abstract, marketing analysis, and more). Then they can easily submit the work directly to you.

The Pubmission Portal works much the same way, only writers never leave your site to use our online submissions tool.

Also, if you use either the Badge or the Portal on your site, you're eligible to receive free space for up to 3 of your books on our Bookshelf!

How writers use Pubmission.

When writers submit a work to Pubmission, they provide a short pitch, a bio, a marketing analysis, and descriptive tags or keywords for the work. We then show them the member publishers that match up with them best. They can also upload their submissions to the general database for all member editors and agents to see. Search this general database to find submissions that meet your immediate needs.

Receive the submissions that are right for you

Writers who submit to Pubmission also have the option of having their work reviewed by carefully screened, experienced editors. Pubmission's Editor Ratings on submissions reflect the potential salability of works. And you can always check the credentials of Pubmission’s reviewers.
