Our goal is to encourage, produce and promote thought-provoking and well written science fiction, fantasy and horror literature.

We specialize in novel-length trade and hard cover books as well as thematic collections / anthologies of short stories.

The press was founded in 1998.

Our books have been nominated for numerous literary awards such as the Sunburst, ForeWord, Aurealis and Benjamin Franklin Awards.

We have licensed publishing rights to The Science Fiction Book Club of New York and successfully licensed paperback and hardback rights to Penguin Putnam, Random House Germany as well as other foreign languagepublishers.

Currently EDGE is negotiating television and movie production options for some of its titles.

Our titles are distributed North America by Ingram Books and Baker and Taylor Books.
