Visit your "account settings" to turn direct submissions off or on. You can also set reading periods.

And just because you're putting your direct submissions on hold, that doesn't mean you'll have to close the door to writers all the way. You'll still have access to our General Database where you can search for the submissions you want—with no obligation to respond. And writers will still have some access to you.
