If you continue to use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions, which together with our privacy policy govern your relationship with this website. Please read these documents carefully. Creating an account, uploading a submission, and using our services implies that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
Writer Terms & Conditions
For writers, the use of this website is subject to the following terms of use:
1. Definitions
1.1. The term ‘Pubmission’ or ‘us’ or ‘we’ refers to the owner of the website whose registered office is 9 Tarragon Place, Flat Rock, NC. The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website.
1.2 Use of Pubmission does not guarantee that any of your submissions will be published.
1.3 Pubmission is not responsible for any Editor Ratings, which are provided by independent reviewers unassociated with Pubmission.
2. Account Usage
2.1. Your Pubmission account is for personal use only. Pubmission prohibits any commercial use of its writer services, including advertisements, affiliate links, and other solicitations. Should you violate this policy, Pubmission will place a hold on your account and may terminate this agreement. Writers are responsible for their own behavior on the site, and you will not hold Pubmission responsible for any contingent, resulting, or disputed loss. Pubmission may take appropriate legal action toward any illegal or unauthorized use of the website.
2.2. You are responsible for choosing a strong password and maintaining the confidentiality of your password. You may not use another user’s password. Pubmission is not responsible for any unauthorized use of the password. Though Pubmission will make reasonable efforts to protect the password, no warranty or guarantee thereof is offered.
2.3. By creating an account on Pubmission, you verify that you are at least 18 years of age.
2.4. One account per writer. If you create more than one account on Pubmission, we will place a hold on all of your accounts, available credits, Editor Ratings, and submissions on this website and send you a notification allowing you 10 (ten) days to comply with this policy. If no action is taken, then all accounts associated with you will be removed and this agreement will be terminated.
2.5. Duplicate submissions are not permitted. Pubmission will put a hold on the first duplicate and notify you that this has occurred.
2.6. Pubmission will deactivate any account that has been inactive for one (1) year. All submissions and credits associated with this account will be deleted from our server.
3. Editor Ratings
3.1. Pubmission allows you to receive star ratings and reviews of your creative work from independent reviewers unassociated with Pubmission. You may receive negative as well as positive comments and ratings. Though you may not agree with the comments of others, by signing up for this service, you waive your right to object to any Editor Rating or feedback you receive from this site. All Editor Ratings are final.
4. Fees
4.1. All prices and features on the website can change at any time.
4.2. Pubmission operates on a credit system for writers. These credits, although quantified on a dollar value, do not have any dollar value outside of the Pubmission site.
4.3. No refunds will be granted for any service or product purchased on Pubmission.
5. Indemnities and Warranties
5.1. Use of this website is at your own risk.
5.2. By creating an account and uploading submissions to Pubmission, you assume all risks associated with public display of the material and you warrant that you own legal rights to that material and indemnify Pubmission from all legal liability for copyright infringements.
5.3. Pubmission does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to its services and may discontinue its operations without liability to you. You also agree to indemnify Pubmission from all legal liability for lost or damaged files submitted by you to the website and/or the deletion or failure to store any messages.
5.4. Pubmission is not responsible for actions of third parties including, but not limited to, editors, literary agents, or publishers subscribing to the website.
6. Copyright
6.1. By posting a submission, you are representing and warranting to Pubmission that you own it, have plenary right to post it, and that it does not infringe upon any third party rights or licenses. You are responsible for owning, securing, and protecting your copyright for each submission you post.
6.2. We may delete any posted content at any time for any reason including but not limited to where the posted content infringes the rights of any third party, threatens the safety of any person, or is otherwise unlawful. You, the writer, agree that Pubmission has absolute authority within its sole and exclusive discretion to remove any material we deem unlawful or harmful, without reason or explanation, and you, the writer shall accept the decision thereby made as final.
6.3 The account of any writer who posts plagiarized content will be terminated immediately without notice.
7. Content License
7.1. By posting content on the website you grant to us a license to publicly display and distribute such content on the website. The license is non-exclusive—you are free to license your content to anyone. You will not be paid by Pubmission for the use of your content on the website. Your content is sub-licensable for the purposes of enabling us to host and maintain the website via third parties and worldwide (which means the content will be viewed on a global basis).
7.2. This license does not grant us the right to sell your content. Pubmission does not acquire any rights to the work other than as set forth in the agreement.
8. Privacy Policy
8.1. We won’t sell your information or work to third parties. See Pubmission’s full privacy policy at http://www.pubmission.com/privacy
9. Cancellation Policy
9.1. You may cancel your account or remove submissions from Pubmission at any time. If you cancel with remaining credits in your account, Pubmission will not reimburse you for these credits.
9.2. Pubmission reserves the right to cancel any account and/or remove any submission from its website at any time.
10. Termination
10.1. Pubmission reserves the right to prevent writers from further access to the website for violating the law or the terms of this agreement.
11. Governance
11.1. This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the

2.3. When creating an account, you are required to use your real company name as well as the real first and last names of at least one employee who will serve as your company’s primary contact for the website.
2.4. The creation of all publishing professional accounts requires Pubmission's approval. Pubmission will not grant approval to vanity presses (specifically publishers who charge writers for publication), self-publishing companies, or literary agents who charge reading fees. If your account is rejected, Pubmission will provide a refund of all fees paid. Pubmission agrees to grant approval for each account in a timely manner.
2.5. Your company information, excluding contact names, e-mail addresses, and payment information, will appear throughout the site to inform writers of your submission requirements and company background.
3. Fees
3.1. All prices and features on the website can change at any time.
3.2. Pubmission operates on a subscription system for publishers and literary agents. Upon the purchase of a 1-year or 2-year subscription, you will receive a 60-day trial of Pubmission. If before the 60-day period expires, you wish to cancel your account, you will receive a refund of the subscription price you paid upon sign-up. At
3.3. Excluding the 60-day trial period, no refunds will be granted for any service or product purchased on the Website.
4. Indemnities and Warranties
4.1. Use of this website is at your own risk.
4.2. By creating an account and reviewing submissions to Pubmission, you assume all risks associated with viewing the material and corresponding with writers. Furthermore, you indemnify Pubmission from all legal liability for copyright infringements associated with writers’ submissions.
4.3. Pubmission does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access to its services and may discontinue its operations without notice and without liability to you. You also indemnify Pubmission from all legal liability for lost or damaged files submitted by you to the website and/or the deletion or failure to store any messages.
4.4. Pubmission not responsible for actions of third parties including, but not limited to writers and editors subscribing to the website.
5. Writer Contact
5.1. You may contact writers via Pubmission at your own risk.
5.2. Any reports of spam, including advertisements, affiliate links, and other solicitations will be considered a violation of this policy and will result in the immediate removal of your account from this site and the termination of this agreement. Pubmission may take appropriate legal action toward any illegal or unauthorized use of the website.
6. Copyrights
6.1. The copyrights of all submissions posted by writers to this site and visible to you in your dashboard and elsewhere are the sole property of the writers who have submitted the works. Any infraction of these copyrights or acts of plagiarism without writer’s consent shall result in the immediate termination of your subscription to Pubmission, with no refund of fees.
6.2. You may not post, modify, distribute, or reproduce on Pubmission’s Publishers’ Want Board any material protected by copyright, trademark, or other proprietary right belonging to others without obtaining their prior written consent.
6.3. We may delete any posted content at any time for any reason including but not limited to where the posted content is offensive, infringes the rights of any third party, threatens the safety of any person, or is otherwise unlawful. We will not be required to give you a reason for deleting this posted content or have any dialogue with you.
7. Content License
7.1. By posting content on the website you grant to us a license to use, modify, publicly display, and distribute such content on the website. The license is non-exclusive—you are free to license your content to anyone. You will not be paid by Pubmission for the use of your content on the website. Your content is sub-licensable for the purposes of enabling us to host and maintain the website via third parties and worldwide (which means the content will be viewed on a global basis).
7.2. This license does not grant us the right to sell your content or information.
8. Company Logo
8.1. Pubmission reserves the right to display a grayscale version of your company logo (with white canvas 95 x 66 pixels) on its home page and throughout the site to represent you and to advertise your subscription to the website. You are responsible for uploading a grayscale version of your logo to the site upon sign-up.
9. Privacy Policy

10. Cancellation Policy
10.1. You may cancel your account from Pubmission at any time. If you cancel after the 60-day trial period with time remaining on your subscription, no refunds will be granted.
10.2. Pubmission reserves the right to cancel any account and/or remove any submission from its website at any time, including submissions that may appear in your dashboard.
11. Termination
11.1. Pubmission reserves the right to expel users and prevent their further access to the website for violating the terms or the law and the right to remove communications which are abusive, illegal, disruptive, or considered as spam.
12. Governance
12.1. This Agreement will be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the
