It’s important to Pubmission that all writers can enjoy some free access to the site. That’s why with the first submission you upload, you’ll automatically receive 3 credits for free.* Use the credits toward any of the site’s features listed below, including Editor Ratings and Editor Coaching.

The Credits System

For writers, Pubmission operates on a credits system. One credit equals US$2. You can purchase credits through your shopping cart at any time.

Sign-Up (FREE)	Upload your submission and up to 3 photo/illustration samples to the site. Select your genre, tags, and write a short pitch. Your writing sample is restricted to a 20,000 character limit, which is about the first three chapters of a novel. Note: Duplicate submissions will be deleted.	Pubmission matches your submission with the needs of publishers subscribing to the site so you don't have to hunt for them in massive listing manuals or through exhaustive Internet searches.	3 FREE credits with enrollment.
General Database (FREE)	Submit your work to the General Database for 6 weeks so all publisher members on Pubmission can search for it when they're looking for something specific. Unlimited renewals.	If an editor is searching for writing that matches your submission, it will appear in their search results. A great way to increase your exposure!	FREE
Top Pub Picks	Send your work directly to the publisher members who match you best. Each publisher has 6 weeks to accept or reject your submission before it expires. If it does expire, you can resend it. (You cannot resend your work to the same publisher if it has been rejected.)	Targeting specific publishers for your work gives you great visibility on their dashboards and email alerts.	1 credit (US$2)
Editor Ratings & Critiques	An editor with slush-pile experience will review your submission and assign it a star rating based on potential salability. The reviewer will also supply a short (300-character minimum) critique. Purchase an unlimited number of Editor Ratings and select your reviewers based on their credentials.	Give your submission a boost to the top of the slush pile! Good Editor Ratings can dramatically improve your chances of getting published.	12 credits (US$24)
Editor Coaching	Pair up with an editor coach of your choosing to help you crank out that first draft or revise and refine something you’ve already written. And do it all online!	Get valuable feedback so you can polish your writing or find motivation to crank out that first draft.	Session fee set by editor
